I would say it's a good college. I have been here from 2022 and in the coming next year 2025, I will graduate. The experiences I had in this college has been great and I am enjoying my college life very much. Through academics to sports, everything has been great till now. There are a lot of programs/functions held on every occasion. Placements are also good enough but not that great, as I have heard from my seniors. But being a tier-3 college, It is a great choice for someone who wants to spend average amount of money on their degree.

As college is in West Bengal state in city called durgapur and it's placed in very convenient place of as it comprises a proper transport for locals and nearby cities student can easily come accross it does have allot of branches as well .people can study on different branches as well .

Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. Both the universities are doing good, but there is one university far ahead of these universities, and that's LPU.LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings.

LPU has its student organization known as "bridge," which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Moreover, Intellectual Industry officials regularly visit the school to guide faculties and students themselves. Workshops are being arranged to enhance student knowledge. School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University, has signed MOU with NHAI for giving paid internship opportunities to our existing Civil Engineering students. Learning by Doing, in which fresher students of the school of civil engineering prepared the building models under the guidance of faculty. The placements are excellent. The School of Civil Engineering students is placed in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L&T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance, etc.
